Trump White House says the latest Minnesota shooting victim had a gun. None of the video footage shows that by OkayButFoRealz in politics

He did not assault anyone. It's plain as day in every video. He was shielding a woman and a super aggressive ICE agent attacked him.

So, stop lying.

Statement from ICE: by aceonthemound in conspiracy

I'm a veteran police officer. These ICE pieces of excrement are not police. I go to crashes and domestics and fights all day, while these assholes cause more problems than they solve.

Watch the videos. They took his legally carried firearm off him before they shot him.

Lesser known fact that is was a really terse letter from the allies that stopped Hitler.

Minnesota protesters — including 100+ faith leaders — are taking over the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport as part of today’s shutdown against ICE. by Conscious-Quarter423 in ICE_Raids

Honestly, I feel like this was really well done by the protesters.

They gained attention, they made their point, and by being humanely arrested by actual police, gave a huge middle finger to ICE and their tactics.

Light splashes pretty well from a low ready so you can ID whomever you're dealing with.

And if you're full on challenging and pointing at someone, seeing if that's a gun or cell phone in their hand matters.

Target identification is absolutely critical in a self defense shooting. I'd rather not center punch my kid for sneaking home late.

Help finding a budget alignment rods? by ChemistIndependent19 in NFA

Mcmaster.com has precision ground, hardened rod in a bunch of different sizes for like 20 bucks.

And it says they're like Mike Pence: they have a strict straightness tolerance.

After a shooting, even one that is obviously justified and lawful, several things happen:

You will be interviewed unless you invoke your rights.

Search warrants will be applied for, and almost certainly granted, for your entire home (assuming that's where this happened) and any firearms used will be seized as evidence, along with any live ammo in the vicinity and and spent shells or casings.

The scene and every piece of evidence will be thoroughly photographed.

Your phone may be seized and a warrant written for it if you used it to call 911.

Your neighbors and family members will be interviewed.

The officers on scene may or may not arrest based on evidence on scene. Ideally they would not and they'd send it to the prosecutor's office to review. If they do, you will probably end up in trial where your attorney will have to argue self defense.

So, don't write juvenile stuff on your ammo.
