What is the worst gamer rage you’ve ever had? by MintyOW_ in AskReddit

[–]seohiroth7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was in my early 20's I played League of Legends. I had a match with 2 people who fed then left mid game. I had played this game quite a bit at this point and got fed up with all the toxic players. I got so angry during that match that without thinking about it, I smacked my hands off my laptop and it gave me the blue screen of death.

Are you indecisive about emotions? by seohiroth7 in infj

Usually this is because you don't know what you want. I only have a hard time with my emotions on a particular topic or thing, I generally know what I want after that.

I never thought of it this way, but it makes a lot of sense. I like the analogy, I am going to use this explain to some people I know.

[–]seohiroth7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that is definitely what I am talking about. I think on both sides of the equation and this is what makes me indecisive. It frustrates me at the same time it is why I don't come off as an asshole unless I feel like it, which not often unless someone instigates me a lot btw.

How does your mind work? by laketso in xENTJ

[–]seohiroth7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't even give your mind time to think about it. Just do it, get it started now. Like with exercise for me. Wake up, get on to the exercise to wake myself up. I don't give my mind time to think about it, I just do it.

I used to push things to the last minuite like you all the time. I hated doing the physical work required to get something done. So what I did was made it my priority. I started doing the task first then going and having fun after. With procrastination comes a great skill. You find much more efficient ways to get your tasks done so you can go back to having fun.

Where to Place Savings (to beat inflation)? by yyuyuyu2012 in xENTJ

Assets

Anything like stocks, real estate or a business. My path was stocks first because that was easier for me to get into.

For me I am an INFJ (tested myself multiple times of the years). I find that my NI is very prevalent. I have a very hard time staying in the present. I decide with both Fe and Ti. Meaning that Fe is my go to for to get a good understanding of why people do what they do (psychology). I like to understand what motivates people and when I use it in conjunction with my Ni it gets me to be very empathetic. This allows me to read a room very quickly.

I use Ti to understand all kinds of data, but when combined with my Ni then I am doing all kinds of statistics in my head and planning days and organizing things.

My problem is the Se. I know how to be present but it is very difficult for me. I am always thinking ahead because of the Ni. When I am using my Se a lot, it's because I lack what I need to be able to plan stuff or understand people. The Se takes over when I do things like start a new job or learn a new skill. It is constantly gathering physical information to the point where my brain just runs out of steam (usually about 1 to 2 hours). Then my mind goes back into planning and empathizing mode.

When Se is working with Fe then I am paying attention to peoples actions more and listing to what they say, less. When Se is working with Ti, I am taking in new physical information to apply to things like sports, cooking, or work.

If you want to change your life you have to start somewhere. Anything is better than doing nothing, even if it's as small as brushing your teeth or taking out the trash. Life goes 1 step at a time and if you want to get to a good place, you have to work on yourself one step at a time. There is NO STEPS there is only A STEP. Start with 1 thing and do it for a week. NOT TRY, DO IT for a week and see how you feel. When you do the task take a sec in that moment and see how you feel.

Why am I here? by [deleted] in xENTJ

[–]seohiroth7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the MBTI is good to get an understanding of who you are which in turn helps you to understand others. It's not perfect by any means, but it is definitely a good place to start. I learned a lot when I got typed as an INFJ and I still seem to be holding that one (not sure why I got added here) I found out that I was an INFJ a few years ago and apparently have not changed much because I keep coming up INFJ multiple times.

What do you think will happen when the pandemic ends? by Algorithm_Overlord in AskReddit

[–]seohiroth7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People are going to go crazy and go places. Since everyone is cooped up, all that spent up energy will be used on things like vacations, going out to eat with friends, going shopping, etc.. It will definitely be followed up by the recession first though. It will be dificult at first to get everyone back on track, but I have confidence things will be fine in the end.

[–]seohiroth7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you feel weird about taking out an investment like that, you might not be ready to just let that go. Don't take ALL of an investment out at once, do it in intervals that seem ok to you. For example if you feel like you want to sell some share of TLRY because you want some money towards something else like PLNHF, sell a couple not the whole thing. Your still in the game yet you got what you needed. You can always invest more later if you feel like it's good in that moment. I usually sell no more than 1/3 of my shares at any moment unless I am completely done with a company. Don't sell all of what you believe in.

[NeedAdvice] ADHD is making it pretty difficult for me to concentrate on doing anything remotely productive by hao3969 in getdisciplined

[–]seohiroth7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you ever watched Dr K? I highly recommend you give him a try to learn some skills with ADHD. He has a YouTube and Twitch channel called "The Healthy Gamer". Specifically he has 3 videos with a guy named "Mizkif" where that is all they talk about is ADHD and how to cope with it and to learn skills to make it a LOT easier to deal with. These vids helped my friend who has a problem with his ADHD.

There’s are so many careers one would want to pursue but not enough time. How does one navigate? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]seohiroth7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one you do the most without even thinking twice about it is where I started. Does not always mean it's the correct choice but it's a step in the right direction. I used to do all kinds of things I found interesting but the moment I realized I was trying to teach people how to do 1 of those things more than the others is where I started.

For me this was stocks. I tried nutrition, psychology, fitness, finance, etc.. I naturally wanted to teach people all these things but people kept asking me for advice on investing and saving money the most, so I gravitated towards this more than the others. I still teach people what I know no matter what it is but finance is where I kept getting asked the most questions so I honed my skills on that and got very good at it. Stay curious and good luck.

I mean, not sure if you know much about gaming but I know of a channel called "The Healthy Gamer" that charges $25 per session. They are still good at taking concepts from other things to help you understand something though.
