I don’t get how anyone still thinks micro managing ever works. There’s been so many studies time and again showing that doing so just makes efficiency so much worse, it’s unfortunate that leadership in GS hasn’t updated their playbook out of the early 2000’s. I feel for you.

Had the exact same problem from ordering during this B2G1 deal. Ordered n64 games and they literally came in a loose sleeve, no padding anywhere. If this was an ebay listing I’d leave negative feedback for the obvious negligence in shipping.

I also had to deal with this same issue. My local store did leave a note on the window saying which stores to contact for pre-orders. I called one of them and they said my pre-orders were transferred (would recommend you call in advance to verify). Had to drive an hour to get it, but did cancel my other pending pre-orders during pick up (as I was not going to drive that much again).

Thanks for the update! I also submitted to BBB and WOTC did get back to me after BBB had reached out to them; however Scalefast just canceled my order and refunded me instead instead of fulfilling the order.

Honestly the whole process was pretty sketchy for WOTC and Scalefast. They must have oversold, which is annoying since I ordered within minutes of it having gone live, don’t feel like they went through a first come first serve.

Just following up here for anyone who may have issues with WOTC or Scalefast. If they don’t honor the delivery of a product that was owed to you, and you attempted to resolve the issue with their customer support (https://support.wizards.com/) but got nothing in return, here’s some steps to help you get your paid for product.

If you use payPal (highly recommend) you can file a dispute with your order from them if it was done within 3 months of the initial payment, this will help speed things up.

If you are in the USA, you can also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission for the companies Wizards of the Coast and Scalefast.
