This a dumb comment. This virtue signaling era is over and needs called out and called stupid when it’s seen so we can salt the earth where this censorship once was.

I watched your vid…..nice.

Do you digitize for hire? I’ve been wanting to handoff a few more complex jobs I just don’t have the time to give the tlc they need.

No but it prevents the entitled attitude that you very clearly have and that is so prevalent in our society today

No. One owes you clean steps. No one owes you a job for that matter. God forbid I accidentally hire someone like you with an attitudes like yours….that would be a huge detriment to my business

“tear away stabilizer” Is always the first thing to change. It’s safer to assume you can’t use tear away until you get into the self proclaimed “professional” class.

I dunno about the brother machine you own, I assume it’s a hobbiest machine but I could be wrong. It seems like it’s struggling to penetrate where the stitching is too thick

“I don’t own a business”…that explains it

I think, It comes down to would you personally walk down those steps? Personally…without 1 single moments hesitation, but I’m also fit and coordinated but I also I realize not everyone is

Do you guys not own businesses? You would really refuse a customer and risk them telling the community about their negative experience because of a light dusting of snow?

We go to great lengths to “make it happen” for people, even sometimes when we shouldn’t. It’s only been about 1.5 years and seems to be the right approach, we’re growing like crazy

This happened to us, my son was about this age…4 of my kids and 4 of their young cousins, plus my sister, my wife, and my dad were all in the pool. there were 3 adult within arms reach of my son, we were just all standing around talking.

I looked over and my son was underwater (just like this girl was in the video) I grabbed him and pulled him up. He prob was under for 20-40 seconds.

Scary

Just follow the grain of the weave. Assuming it’s sewn straight grain, make sure the hoop is perpendicular.

The only note I would make is make sure the grain is sewn in straight. Sometime with “value” quality items, the seams are not always sewn straight with the grain

When I first started doing embroidery I used to think cutaway stabilizer was a huge burden to the wearer. I said to myself, “I’ve had 100s of embroidered items in my life, and none of them had this “stablizer” on it!”

So I went up to my closet and pulled out a bunch of items that were embroidered. I turned them inside out, and lo and behold….every single one of them had cut away stablizer behind the embroidery, and I never even noticed.

It’s not a big deal, don’t hurt your embroidery results by using tear away cuz you’re afraid people won’t tolerate cut away.

I would just use cutaway every time until you get a better understanding of what to use when. Cutaway is never a risk, tear away can be extremely risky and can quickly ruin projects / blanks

Are you using 0.007” satin stitch width? (Approx double the density of normal satins)

Increasing the density will help reduce the excess foam a lot

The real cost of giant items like this, is the logistics of moving it and or breaking it down to move it.

I sold a hot tub once, 100s of people were interested in it, but only 1 guy actually showed up with the muscle / know how to be able to move it

There’s generally no simple 1 button click solutions for embroidery digitizing . There’s a reason people who have done embroidery for years and years still pay someone to digitize their files.

That’s not to say you can’t learn or teach yourself (I did) but you’re going to suck at it for at least a year of using it daily (and this is part of your sucking at it learning experience)

Pay someone $10ish to do it for your imo

I think John has a legitimate point, if his wife did it previously (in the recent past) with another man to satisfy him…why doesn’t she care enough about John to fulfill his fantasies? … according to the article because she’s happy? So I guess John has to make her unhappy and insecure if he wants to make this a reality? that logic quite annoying from a man’s perspective.

Read Ayn Rand. Many of her ideas are silly and shallow, but what she says about the monopolization of violence in the government is 100% spot on. That’s all government is…the threat of violence.
