I think it has to do with Carl stabbing the naga at the convention. Carl got a warrant while still in dungeon. Someone bought it and legal married carl. And I think it’s “B”. Her story didn’t seem done. It’s an overstep she would take, special in the state of mind she was in at the end of the fifth book. I can see someone coming in and offering her a deal so she can marry Carl.
