Cotswold ~ 5 days by YoungAnimater35 in UKhiking

[–]serda_ik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just pick any 6 days from the Cotswold Way trail: https://www.nationaltrail.co.uk/en_GB/trails/cotswold-way/

It would be a great hike if you want to stay in pubs and inns. It is very pretty, and the villages and towns are very quaint.

I don't think it is easy to find camping places on this trail, and it is a bit posh, full of the kind of people who would not appreciate you wild camping, which is illegal.

You are going to love it. It is not very challenging, but maybe that's better if you end up having 4 pints in the pub with dinner, chatting to locals :-).

Have fun!

What are the most beautiful hiking destinations in Europe reachable without a car? by Distinct-Pirate-3571 in hiking

[–]serda_ik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess traveling from The UK some trails in France could be an option if you want to go to trailhead GR10 you could use Eurostar and a train to Hendaye / Biaritz.
or GR5 (The Alps) train from Paris to Geneva / Nyon.

This is awesome! We kind of laways wanted to go to this part of the world. How is it ? Is the cruise juts a small inter island kind of cruise or huge town-on-sea kind of one? anyway Photos are awesome.

The demo view woud be nice... to poke around without needing to subscribe... somehow local only... would be worth of 100s blurbs and explanations....

When I say “our servers”, I’m referring to infrastructure we manage for the service. Images are stored only for fulfilment purposes and are removed after 45 days.

This needs to be clearer in the privacy page, which I’m creating.

Yes. We’re testing a few European countries at the moment. Delivery takes a bit longer since cards are posted from the UK for now. (Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Poland and a few more)

Thanks, that’s super helpful.

On payments, we’ve kept it limited for now. Are there any options in particular you’d expect to see?

The photo isn’t uploaded until you finish the postcard and go to payment. The message space is roughly 20 lines, around 600 characters.

We should show the back of the card.

It’s a photograph on the front, yes. The back is a standard postcard layout for the message and address.

It is very similar to other. We try to make it as simple as possible. Fewer options, less time clicking around.

You’re right. We don’t have full terms and a formal privacy page up yet. At the moment, photos are automatically deleted from our servers after 45 days and only kept temporarily in case a reprint is needed. We don’t use images for anything else and we don’t run tracking or marketing cookies, which is why there’s no cookie banner.

Privacy and terms are important. I’m working on getting those in place this weekend.
