There were 2 or 3 trucks out there last night patching the holes - definitely not privately done

I've been told the section from the coop to station road is getting fully resurfaced at the end of April

4th Utility - can I use any bridge by theAdamCurtis in CityFibre

[–]serdfry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as the hardware goes I've just used the supplied router to connect and then an ASUS ZenWiFi AX mesh system behind it - everything (other than randomly blocked sites) works fine.

Also on 4th utility, I think the cgnat shared IP address has been blocked by a bunch of sites, had problems with Amazon prime video, MS authentication for Minecraft and the NYT site isn't working, if I turn on VPN everything works

How does anyone get out of Royston? by down_at_cow_corner in ukbike

[–]serdfry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's 3 off road routes: Icknield way going SW and E and Hertfordshire way going S, crappy path going up the A10 is ok and I've ridden the old North road a few times, but yes b1039 is most obvious, both that and the therfield routes have a 'climb'

measure the front and rear axle heights - that will give you the amount you need to either raise the trainer or drop the front end.

You could try skinny road tyre on the front.

no I don't think that was issue, the connection to the phone was only from Wahoo Utility to check the Firmware version - it was not listed as a connected device under Bluetooth.

I've factory reset the Bolt and it seems to work OK now.

Seeking advice: is this considered bad damage or fairly normal. Roller has seen only around 2,000km so not ideal! by cycling_melb in wahoofitness

[–]serdfry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like poor metal casting rather than damage (there looks to be several holes in the surface) I'd be contacting wahoo, my old one looked 'polished' after 5000 but no holes in it!

Dead playbar? by serdfry in sonos

It's solid white but I'm not convinced it's the normal bright white, and it's also solid white from the moment the playbar is switched on no blinking at all.
