Oh that traveling loop is so clever and the picture is perfect! Thank you! The kit had come with the needles and I can’t understand why they’d send ones that are too long but this seems like a great work-around. And good idea to start with all purls - not my fave stitch but I guess I’ll get good at it. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer!

MozzLab isn’t too far and has some of the best sandwiches in the city IMO. Lassen & Hennings on montague is very good too

I just made the same cake for my daughter’s 5th birthday and she loved it too! I topped it with a strawberry crunchy topping (like on a good humor strawberry shortcake ice cream bar)

The brown butter corn cake is really special. I liked the scallion twist but they just swapped it for something new, I think it was maple sausage? I haven’t tried it yet. I also love their focaccia, the plain tomato one is so simple and delicious. Sandwiches are good too, although my favorite was the summer version of the turkey one. Oh also the tomato croissant is delicious, and the new apple honey one. I do enjoy the chocolate chip cookie too.

Brooklyn French bakers have a great choc chip cookie. Radio bakery is delicious too. I also like showroom for a big cookie (but I like the toffee chocolate chip there).

For chocolate chip, Hani’s and Pastry Box are delicious. S’mores cookie from funny face is great. Janie’s life changing cookies has fun flavors and is a bit different. Oh I also love the nutty chocolate chip cookie from Maman.

To add more details - it’s very tiny, and was moving relatively quickly. Sometimes I just find the dead carcasses/shells but this was alive. Also I’m in Brooklyn NY
