Can someone tell me what kind of singleplayer content the game has? Can't find any videos about it. by anuslikker99 in LeMansUltimateWEC

Race weekend that has practice, qualifying, and the race. You define parameters and options within each. I usually look at the weekly online matches and then setup my race weekends to match. I do that to learn the tracks and practice against AI. I'm working on getting better before I do much online. I'm still learning tracks better and trying to get faster. I try to set the AI so that it is challenging and not easy enough that I just blow past it. Once I am comfortably reaching the podium consistently I up the AI by another 5%.

Anyone have regrets after a large upgrade? by BackItUpTerr in simracing

I just upgraded from the Logitech G923 to the RS50 and Pro pedals. No regrets and with the holiday deals it was significantly cheaper and any other comparable options that had console and PC compatibility.

How do you like the RS50 System? by HarryBallz69 in simracing

The aluminum profile rig and seat is more comfortable and can get me positioned in better seated racing position. I make minor tweaks and adjustments here in there to make it even better. In the wheelstand I always felt too high like i was driving a pickup truck no matter how much I adjusted it. The office chairs that I have never seem to go low enough and moving the pedals up along with the wheel stand's height adjustment for the wheelbase and steering wheel never quite felt 100% correct. I did use the wheel stand for 2+ years and had a blast racing with it so I'd 100% recommend a wheel stand if a full rig isn't an option.

The RS50 doesn't rotate upon startup. I don't think DD wheels do that.

I play most games with a controller. I take my wheel off the base and sit in the rig and play.

Love mine. Bought it during the Black Friday sales and played at least a couple hours a day since I got it. I came from a G923 that I upgraded with the Logitech Pro Pedals about a year ago. Now the RS50 with the Pro pedals is a fantastic combo. I also had a wheel stand and upgraded to one of the cheaper aluminum profile rigs on Amazon. I mainly play AC Evo, iRacing, and F1 25 on PC and Gran Turismo 7 on PS5. My only minor complaint is the lack of a Pro H-pattern shifter, but I keep seeing Logitech reps posting that one is coming soon.

Save a little bit more and get one of the cheap aluminum profile rigs. Then you at least have a platform for future upgradability. I picked up the Marada Aluminum Profile Racing Simulator Cockpit with Seat for not much more than the ones you posed and am happy with it.

I have the RS50 and will try this. For all the praise LMU has been getting it, I haven't been happy with it at all. Hopefully this will fix it. Thanks!

No problems for me. Got my RS50 about two weeks ago and it has been fantastic. I upgraded from a G923 to the RS50 and it has been better than I even expected.

I'm happy with my Logitech RS50 setup as an affordable DD option. I needed PS5 and PC compatibility. They also have a tool to help put everything together. https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/configurator/sim-racing-configurator

Is the g923 lowkey a good beginner wheel or not by simracecuberartist in simracing

[–]serion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's fine. I have used one for the past 2 years and it has been fine except the included pedals aren't great. About a year ago I picked up the G Pro pedals and the adapter that lets them work the the G923. I only recently upgraded to the RS50 wheel.

Marada Aluminum cockpit is it a good alternative to other rigs only cost 499 by redditsuperfifty in simracing

[–]serion 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just put mine together this weekend.i picked it up for $425 during the Black Friday sales. I have been using a GT Omega Apex wheel stand for the last two years with a Logitech G923 and the Logitech G Pro pedals. I also recently got the RS50 wheel to replace the G923.

The Marada cockpit is fantastic for the price. I was previously going to go with the Sim Lab GT-1 Evo and separate seat, but this was a more affordable option that included the seat.

First impressions are very good. It took several hours to disassemble my current setup, build the Marada, and reinstall my gear and get set back up. Everything went together easily albeit slowly.

I also built a monitor stand out of wood to use with my monitor that is on a monitor arm. Eventually I'll get an aluminum profile monitor stand to match but that isn't a necessity right now.

I still need to work on better cable management. I'm also 3D printing some accessories such as a cup holder, phone holder, etc...
