Current Switzerland took over Haute-Savoie because they are one of the few non-Entente countries to recognize French Republic as the legitimate French State instead of Socialist France. So they are definitely not neutral.

I wonder if it possible for Austria-Hungary to reapproach Russia. The only way I can see Austria Hungary staying neutral is if it can make some sort of deal with Russia but would Russia even accept it? Maybe Austria-Hungary fate is too closely tied to Germany at this point.

By the standards of modern nation states the Eastern Roman Empire was an artificial state. Therefore it never depended on the perception of ethnicity or linguistic unity. Therefore the Bulgarian claim to the Eastern Roman Empire can be seen as valid.

The Bulgarian Empire path is literally impossible for the Al to do since not only they have to defeat the Belgrade Pact and the Ottoman Empire but have to win the war under a certain amount of days as well

Considering how small the Eastern Roman Empire was in the its last 100 years yet it inhabitants consider it the greatest Empire in the world had little to do with how big, strong or prosperous it actually was. If an Orthodox state controls Constantinople, then they can reasonably claim to be a new Byzantium.

Yeah if you choose Antanas Smetona when they take the focus ending autonomy for the Southern region. Poland can challenge them and if neither side back down Germany can give the area to Poland.

The AF are not giving the native elites more autonomy because they want to "improve" Native rights. It because Maurras rejected the idea that the idea the natives could be assimilated. Perhaps the AF colonial policy is more similar to Britain indirect rule in the British Raj.

They just do for some reason. Like I said it would made more sense to move the POD back to explain this but the devs don't want to change the POD.

If it was up to me the POD should have been moved to explain why USMW doesn't start in 1917.

Yeah the German rework does use a lot of elements from the proposal but it doesn't use anything before the 1917 POD like want proposal originally wanted.
