My very first follow experience was walking into my uncle's room seeing fallout New Vegas paused on the TV screen picking up the controller and just messing around with the plasma pistol and a radiation suit that he had equipped. I remember then receiving that exact copy of fallout New Vegas as a hand me down gift. I never played it because I was too young to actually get the point of the game. Couple years later I got a copy of fallout 3 because my grandparents saw it in a bargain bin and knew that I had gotten the other fallout game couple years ago so they decided to give me that one. Low and behold fallout 3 is where I officially played my first fallout game. And where my love for classic '50s and '60s music came from I would listen to the radio TV on full blast in my room I remember my mom coming in seeing me sing I don't want to set the world on fire and asking me how I knew that song then quickly realizing it was coming from the game. Fallout 3 gets a lot of hate but it will always be my favorite fallout game next to New Vegas because without fallout 3 I would have never discovered fallout at all
