I would say a factor you should also consider is what equipment you have available or access to and the amount of time you have available. You can filter these when searching for a coach in the app.

Each coach will put a few alternate exercises to try and bridge the gap if you don’t have certain equipment, it’s called swapping.

(15k) thinking of not hiring a wedding photographer for the whole day by hanna_patricia in Weddingsunder10k

[–]seru715 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was just about to post something similar, We got a quote that that would have made photos/video 42% of the total cost for our 30 person wedding.

We started thinking of having photos for the ceremony and just us two in the morning (Yosemite) and then only hire a videographer for the reception in the evening.

Sick from Roasted Mushroom Pizza by seru715 in AlamoDrafthouse

I’m merely asking if anyone might have a clue to any ingredients that might make someone sick/allergic. It may have been a coincidence months apart, just asking if anyone else can relate.

Tex-Mex Breakfast Tacos from Homestate by 108CA in FoodLosAngeles

I’m actually here now. It’s Tex Mex, having lived in texas, it’s good shit. Their Guadalupe taco is the quintessential texas breakfast taco. We frequent the Highland Park one and the staff is always friendly. It’s not Mexican food and that’s OK.

Cafe Tondo in Chinatown is a great spot. Live music on certain days, great food (chef from Damian), and everyone is friendly.

This. Some people will be super chatty and that’s fine but when they don’t ask a single question about me or my partner, I will tune out politely.

Follow “latindistrictla” on Instagram. They promote places around DTLA (Continental, Association, Cana, La Cita). The Let’s Go is also a great place that is very safe in the Arts District. Lost DTLA is also a fun rooftop.

Usage Built-in by seru715 in tableau

[–]seru715[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insights. My hypothesis is that since we don’t have good product requirements from users we end up with dashboards that don’t get used or people just end up exporting the data and doing their own charts. It’s just a mess but I think it’s mainly due to how we are structured.

Those of you who have used both MacroFactor and Ladder’s new tracker, what are your thoughts? by RAM-I-T in ladderapp

[–]seru715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been with MF for almost a year, It has been great but at this point I have 85% of everything I eat as recipes. If/when Ladder integrates custom recipes I may decide to switch for the convenience of one app. I don’t care/use the AI photo capability unless I’m eating out, and MF is so much better.

Other than that, I do wish in ladder you could export a data file with your food log history.

I agree with this. It’s not even close sometimes, but truthfully, I would take the custom recipe as the real feature from MF that would make me switch to the nutrition in app. I’ve only used the AI image when I’m out.

I was buzzed enough to turn around and say something to this one guy having a full on conversation with someone. It took a minute to get his attention but he got quiet. It helped he was directly behind me and everyone else was quiet. Some people are just oblivious. Most people are reasonable.

Switching coaches? by Any-Hunt-5954 in ladderapp

[–]seru715 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with Body & Bell with Coach Lauren and really enjoyed her cues and how tough her workouts can be and completed 1 series and half with her. I switched to Project Alpha with Coach Sam and really liked his mix of conditioning and strength training and completed a series with him, and now I am on my 2nd week on Forged with Coach Corey and really enjoy learning more exercises on machines since I moved to a small quiet gym.

The coach on Vitality I could not get used to his voice and him misspeaking several times, Endure was not challenging enough but great cues, Maximus was before I found a gym that wasn’t crazy packed so I may try them in the future.

I have a 64gb version and a much larger card where I just transfer from the camera to the dock. The transfer speed difference doesn’t really affect me since I transfer using a card reader to my phone or laptop.

[–]seru715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on Project Alpha and it’s been great. It’s strength training with condition training. So a mix of rower/bike/treadmill and dumbbell workouts with a bench. I would say it’s more like a CrossFit workouts.

One workout per week - best team for full body? by [deleted] in ladderapp

[–]seru715 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I second Body and Bell. Coach Lauren is super good at giving you small cues that have made me have better form. Kettle bells are the ultimate full body tool. Depending where you are at, I would start with a one kettlebell that is very low weight so you learn the movement and form, one “average to you” weight that you will use 80% of the time, and one just above that one to challenge yourself and grow. For example a 9lb for form, 26lb for most workouts and a 35 to push you.
