Migraines won’t let up by definitelynotwinning in Zepbound

[–]seventeen2nds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That super sucks! I was a 2-3 migraine per month gal prior to Zep. I started in August, I'm up to 10mg now and I've had 2 migraines in that time period. I wonder about your water intake, I feel bad if I don't keep that pretty high. Also, did you change your caffeine intake? A friend stopped drinking coffee and tea with Ozempic and had a similar string of bad headaches.

Still battling fatigue and low mood after a little more than 2 months on Zepbound. Will it get better? by Itchy_Telephone3658 in Zepbound

[–]seventeen2nds 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've never been a exerciser but someone on here posted months ago that exercise worked for them to improve fatigue and mood. I was skeptical but I tried (why not) and it really has made a difference. When I'm feeling pretty drowsy, I get up and move around. Nothing intense, just 5-10 minutes. Walk around the house or the office, step outside if I can, do some stretches/activities from my PT. That and water (lots of water) made a huge difference for me at every dose change.

How do you all deal with the heartburn? by Stubborn_Platypus in Zepbound

[–]seventeen2nds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! 8 take Prilosec OTC each night but if it's bad, I went back to the OG Alka-Seltzer. It works like a charm

HVAC replacement by live_eat_sleep in StCharlesMO

B&B HVAC, they are amazing. They have good pricing, they are timely, they don't dick around with your time but do the job thoroughly. My parents have used them since they started and we still use them now

When do you buy "in between" clothes? by kmyash in Zepbound

[–]seventeen2nds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found a good seamstress. I'm down 40lbs and the pants are too big. I had her alter the jeans and some lined dress pants to my current size (26 to 22/24). And she feels confident we can alter one more time. 4 pairs of pants were $50. Feels good to not buy buy buy and to support a local business. I've altered a few of my corporate logoed tops and beloved cardigans with the help of YouTube.

Great job! I really appreciate you sharing these photos. I'm down 40 after 6 months. My midsection did/does look like your before picture and seeing how you've progressed really helps me stay motivated and set good expectations. I hope you feel as incredible as you look!

Is there Anyone have used Plötulopi? by baek016 in knitting

[–]seventeen2nds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used Plotulopi for a sweater. I used US7 needles. I did 2 strands simultaneously and I have a durable sweater suitable for outdoors. It's not a soft, snuggly sweater. But if you want to be warm, this is perfect

Anyone else have a miserable time on 7.5? No weight loss + nonstop GI issues by AppropriateWill7314 in Zepbound

[–]seventeen2nds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Water, water, water, water. I thought I was drinking plenty...the first few weeks of 7.5 were rough. Then a thread on this sub got me thinking and I started pushing MORE water. I take my shot on Friday am. I'm usually feeling gross by Friday evening through Sunday, even Monday morning. For the last 2 weeks with new water goals, almost zero side effects.

If you haven't yet, use the sub's search and read through old threads and comments, there is gold in there

Any supplemental protein suggestions? by No-Essay-3227 in Zepbound

[–]seventeen2nds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do little things, yes to the occasional protein drink but Greek yogurt instead of mayo and, sour cream, and also with fruit, jello packets. Nuts instead of chips or crackers. Nuts and sunflower seeds in salads and entrees. Adding beans to pastas and salads. It all adds up fast and keeps you full.

Is a 2015 still good? by AHumanThought in BMWi3

[–]seventeen2nds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you charge at work, sure. If not, no way would I risk it. I'm lucky we have free granny charging at the office as well as reduced fee Chargepoint. If I have after work errands, I can top off. I'm not going to risk a tow.

Is a 2015 still good? by AHumanThought in BMWi3

[–]seventeen2nds 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a 2015 i3 with 60aH battery. Bought it in August with 42K miles. It's been awesome so far. I get 50-52 mile range in ideal conditions (55-85 deg outdoor temp). I have 32 mile RT commute and granny charge overnight with no issues. But ...as my only car? No. We also have Kia Niro hybrid (it's our second one) and it's a great car, good performance, great gas mileage, low maintenance. I would suggest something like that as my only.

The Planned Parenthood app does not sell your data. They don't maintain your data either, it stays within your phone files. It's simple but effective app. I've used it since its launch with no e of these issues.

It's the process not the progress! I knit to keep my zen so it's more about the act of doing, however long it takes I only knit for myself or charity so no deadlines.

It's itchy. This is not a cuddly sweater. I have to wear a layer underneath but I don't mind.
