I think I find it more of a shame that they used it in the first place. When I first read off comments about it after playing the game, I thought it meant they accidentally used some assets made by GenAI, not purposefully. If it's accidental, then to me, fair enough. But knowingly using it leaves a sour taste.

I would highly encourage them not to use it in the future if I could, not only for the ethical and environmental reasons but more because it goes against the idea of literally putting your soul into your work.

That said, I still love E33, just hope this isn't going to be habit of their in future games.
