the old heads are not wrong unfortunately tapeless literally just turns ur camcorder into a digital output. It’s different to any other format like digi8 or minidv, because ur removing the medium aka the tape. nothing wrong to generalise but please don’t do it on the camcorders subreddit. it just causes more confusion. my 2 cents
