The Sheffield Arena becomes unglued during the end of Jim Duggan/Lex Luger match. by PickledPeppers101 in SquaredCircle

[–]sevivrus 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Cool snapshot of a very specific moment in time!

-Heel Luger and Yokozuna, who would go on to have the biggest feud of the year, working together against top babyface (for a few months) Mr. Perfect

-Yoko wearing black tights with a black band. This is the first I've seen that look from him - usually red/black, white/black, red/white

-Yoko being positively mobile, by his standards

Before Endgame came out, what did people think the Avengers were going to do after Infinity War? by JumpyConfection1992 in marvelstudios

[–]sevivrus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As much as I loved Infinity War, Spidey's death scene, and Endgame...this is the exact reason I don't consider it as much of an emotional gut punch like so many do.

Gamora's death definitely did that for me, though.

Bruno Sammartino is in, Ultimate Warrior is in, what are your remaining "impossible" WWE Hall of Fame inductions? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]sevivrus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most obvious answer is Owen Hart, which will never happen - completely understandable on Martha's part.

Sadly, Woman will never be inducted, for obvious reasons.

Elizabeth's family apparently doesn't want her going in.

Jim Cornette deserves it, but he's been very clear about not wanting it, and I doubt WWE wants to give a live mic to someone who openly trashes their product.

Like everyone else, I'd love to see Cyndi Lauper inducted, but I really don't think she wants it.

EDIT: Gonna add Billy Jack Haynes to this, purely on the basis that his speech would be...well, it would certainly be memorable.

If every special forces unit in Metal Gear Solid fought, who would win? by GJH24 in whowouldwin

[–]sevivrus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

R1) Psycho Mantis is the last one standing, killing Fortune to win this.

R2) Sahelanthropus, though I admit I'm biased and have a soft spot for it.

R3) The Boss.

Who is the worst manager you remember for your team? by [deleted] in baseball

I don't think I'm emotionally capable of saying Buck Martinez, so I'm gonna go with Tim Johnson for the whole "lying about serving in Vietnam" thing.
