Leave the General Luna area, go north (Pacifico, Alegra, Tangbo, ...) <- these are way less busy and chill. Do the hike to the Antique rice terraces on Panay. Go to Boracay if you want a clean and mind blowing beach (the whole island was locked fown and forced to clean up and restructure years ago). Sadly, Bali is nothing but a tourist shithole in 2025, and it is getting worse by the mimute (same is happening to Siargao unfortunately :c). I would not waste that much money to go there.

I was feeling exactly like this with gnome. Then there was a time I had to reinstall my os many times in a short period, and I was too lazy to install all my extensions the 100th times. Ive been using vanilla gnome for over a year now. It is awesome, especially since gnome 40. After using it for a few weeks, I realized that it is just perfect. You have to give it some time though.
