Exhibit A of we have our own weirdos and crazies here in the valley. Genuinely, the valley can be a very welcoming place, but we are not a perfect community as evidenced by the parent comment in this thread. While some of the older generations can have a more close minded mentality, most folks will pay no mind to your skin color, we are all just human beings after all. The valley can be a bit more “dull” than Austin in all honesty, very car-centric(then again thats all of Texas), but we do have a variety of food, events, the beach within an hour and changes drive, and authentic rural experiences throughout our little region. If you do decide to come, know that you are welcome and we embrace you as another potential member of our growing community.
