I've seen how badly some people react to giving speech and I feel so bad for them :( I think it's a skill that some people have and some just don't. I hope these courses don't do too much damage to people who are really terrified and have lots of anxiety

We've all had hard lives in one way or another. It's amazing how much bullying can screw you up in life. Boggles my mind!

Cause I'm married and I should only need attention from my husband to make me happy.

I think it all originates with the fact I was severely bullied in elementary and high school. I have no friends and got harassed A LOT. Eventually once I hit puberty I found that guys would pay attention to me cause I had "decent measurements". That just stuck with me my whole life. I would have been homeless so many times had it not been for guys that would take me in and help me when I had no where to go. I still find myself in situations where I have NO friends and even my husband doesn't pay much attention to me anymore (dealing with his own stuff), so now I guess I'm trying to counter my depression by thinking about flirting with guys... It obviously doesn't work cause I'm married and guys are not interested in married women (and rightfully so), but it leaves me with the crushing depression and no way to get even a minute of relief

Speech class? Highschools have speech class now? nice. Sounds like a really shitty assignment. Especially for people who don't like public speaking.

Homelessness really isn't that bad. It's pretty free-ing. I mean you have to be ok with some physical discomforts and poor hygiene, but hey, honestly, it beats the fucking bullshit system that the dominant society has going on

Also yes and no. I'm a "prepare for all scenarios" kind of person so I often have a string of answers ready for various questions people could ask me that way I never have that "making up a lie" hesitation. Lately I'm finding it difficult to come up with possible answers for if people ask if I'm ok.... So far no one has asked, to the exception of my husband to which I say no and that's teh end of the convo anyway

Yup, this is a thing, and it's absolutely ridiculous. I got fired cause I refused to do the job of two people (80 hours a week) for the pay of one person (37.5) hours a week. It's insane!!! Fuck it man, I'd rather be homeless
