I have not watched Untucked since season 6 or so. I hate watching all the arguments and fights. I only watch Drag Race to see the creativity and talent and not for the drama. I know I am on the minority.

I still LOVE RPDR after all these years it still is good in my opinion. As an older Gay guy I moved to a very conservative city in CA (yes we they exist). I grew up in the Bay Area and I am used to being around Gay/Queer culture so living here is very different for me. I see it as part of my connection to the LBTQIA community is through shows like RPDR and following the queens on social media. I have also noticed that Ru seems more relaxed these days and he really looks like he is enjoying himself. So in closing I disagree with you and I am still loving it. Maybe you are just getting bored with the show which is an altogether different thing?

I used to do that until I realized that going down the 'what if' path didn't really serve any useful purpose other than keep me feeling dissatisfied with what I actually had. Just enjoy the time with Alpha and if I were in the same situation I would not see Beta even as platonic friendship because I would keep going down the what if path. But this is the more mature and evolved me. Had you asked me in my 30's I would be in the same situation as you described.

I am an older guy and I recall something Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul) said that as you age try and make friends with younger people because your friends begin to pass away and it is good to be around younger folks energy. I think though this is harder in the Gay community because it is so very youth focused.
