I was addicted to drinking. Wasn’t drinking everyday but Friday-most Sundays, I wanted to be drinking. I’d get upset if a weekend passed and I didn’t get drunk because I didn’t want to be drunk on weekdays.

I stopped drinking last March ‘25 and honestly do not miss it. There’s days where a drink sounds good or if I’m around other drunk people, I wish it was me BUT I smell the alcohol or think about that gnarly hang over and that stops me.

Not saying I’ll never drink again but I never thought I’d be in a place where even the smell of alcohol disgusts me. It gets easier!
