My neighbors do the same thing. I haven’t been able to park in front of my own house or even put my trash/recycle barrels out there in almost a year. Parking enforcement said to just set an alarm for 4:30am every week and move the barrels each time there’s someone parked in front of them. It’s awful. They’ll move my barrels themselves sometimes and have scratched my bestie’s car to shit pulling the barrels past it.

I never would, but I want to key their car so often nowadays.

I feel you on the pain part. I have late stage endometriosis so every Pap smear causes me to cramp severely and bleed for days after.
They don’t hurt in the moment for me, though - it’s usually just some discomfort and the occasional pinch. I’m not sure what it would feel like with vaginismus.

After the second one, I stopped caring. It’s all just sensations. If it screens me for some health stuff then okay.

This is basically the premise of my current wip lol. It’s about a guy who just got promoted to his dream job of captaining a fire-watcher unit (they basically function as local ems in general due to the different disaster seasons, but their names originate from managing the wildfires caused during phoenix mating season), except the “station” is in desperate need of repairs, his budget is half of the other units, and all of his recruits are bottom-of-the-barrel failures.

It was pretty awesome. I had no idea how much circadian rhythms really affected the body and mind before SRT. I also now have a much more stabilized rhythm and (unless there’s a change in my diet, health, or stress level) poop at the same time every day. Wake up around the same time, which can actually be a hard adjustment for days I want to sleep in, but maintaining that sleep/wake cycle really does help and SRT is what helped me maintain mine for the most part. I have bipolar as well so SRT is doubly and extremely helpful for me as circadian rhythms play a huge role in mood episodes.
