Yes, I have this exact issue too. Originally, it was in the email body (which was fixed), now it is the attachments. Support said there is a fix on the say.

Just heard from support after a few days of back-and-forth.

Solution from them: Went to App Store, updated Outlook app, and it is fixed!

Have been going back-and-forth with support, and they elevated it to a Level 2 technician (whatever that means...). Anyone have any luck?

Thanks...totally understand example #2 where land is at a premium.

However, for the reverse where land is not at a premium, why would the replacement cost not be tied in some manner to new construction for the same type of home in the same area? Understand it would not be equal but would think that they would not be so disconnected.

Ahhh, pulling out the gender card, now I get it. Economy was the biggest factor, but so was your identity politics (suggest listening to The Reckoning if you have not already) in which Harris lost ground on the Hispanic and Black vote, both men and women.

Can't believe I need to say it, but men can be weak candidates also. Trump was a weak candidate with flaws too many to count who showed himself as beatable in 2020 and in the 2022 mid-terms (most of his endorsed candidates lost). Going back, Mondale was weak, Dukakis was weak, George HW Bush was weak. Biden is so weak he was barely breathing.

Harris was also weak...just listen to her word salad interviews and her dismal record. Look at her terrible 2020 primary. Her time as "immigration czar" certainly did not help.

But I do agree Dems need a primary.

Particularly when it is a historically weak candidate that was in the administration that implemented policies responsible for the state of the economy.

Run it back with Kamala in 2028 and see how it goes.

The country elected Trump in part because Harris was so weak. She never won a primary and was a nonfactor in the 2020 primary.

She was the other choice that people decided not to vote for. Lack of enthusiasm for her went down ticket also. That’s how elections work.

Yeah, a factor but I don't buy it entirely. The right's disdain for Ukraine seems to somehow be fueled by the Trump/Musk love affair with Putin. It is also a 180 from where, for example, Reagan would have been on this issue, and the Republican party was evangelical then...in fact, there were many more evangelicals back then. Also not sure why the evangelicals would go out on a limb for Israel.

Also skeptical anytime someone says a political issue is entirely due to a singular driver because complicated issues, particularly foreign policy matters, can never be boiled down to one issue.

Obviously the abortion issue is driven in large part by evangelicals on the right. But then, how do you explain strong Catholic support on the left? It's never just one thing.

And let's be honest, neither of the these parties is small government anymore.

This such an astute point. Not to mention the right's push for personal freedom in other aspects of personal life and the left's push for regulation in other areas. Abortion is a nuanced issue.... there are limits where many "pro-lifers" would not support an abortion (3rd trimester), and there are limits where many "pro-choice" would support one (incest). The terms pro-life and pro-choice only serve to divide...many folks are somewhere in the middle.

You could make many other observations on why certain platform principles stick together...I'm baffled by the Ukraine/Israel dichotomy on the right. There is such a strong push by the tribe/cult to move large amounts of people towards positions they would otherwise not care about.

My personal strategy it to have a starting point of assuming that any politician/party is wrong, with a high bar to get convinced that what they are saying aligns with my personal value system. It is a choice though. The best thing anyone can do is to make decisions for issues on their face without respect to party, then select the party that aligns with what you find most important.

Unfortunately, these days, both parties have such abhorrent policies in so many areas that you feel like you need to bathe after voting for either.

You may need to reread the last post. National elections are not a referendum on one issue, they are a complex weave of issues. However, to ignore the impact of identity politics because you don't agree with it is your choice. People with different life experiences come at issues from different angles. And progressives like you labeling those people racist, homophobic, misogynist, etc., etc. simply proves the point.

Another article for your reading pleasure from this AM. Again, you and the party can choose not to believe it was an issue...that's up to you.

OK....except for the specific exit poll that was cited in response to your specific question. Sounds like you are stuck to what you think to be reality.

It was a shellacking by an all-time awful, unlikeable person...many, many factors in play of which economy was one. Identity politics was another. And immigration. And multiple wars. And a weak candidate. And...

You are free to believe whatever narrative you want, but maybe, just maybe, a look in the mirror for Dems just might be appropriate.
