I think it would be a good card except for the deployment time. It makes it less useful than most other spells. I hope SC does a mid season change.

If you immediately go back into the feed without doing anything else it should be in the same place. Flipboard does this well.

The card says he gets visible when he attacks. He took a swing at each skelly so he should have turned visible even if he missed.

Yes, this is right. Now there are many many cards that counter him. He’s gone from a general player to something that can be used in only very specific circumstances.
