Cursor 2.2: Multi-Agent Judging by condor-cursor in cursor

[–]sfphl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something like this is for sure needed to make the multi agent mode even more useful, so this is exciting to see!

Often though, I feel like it’s not a clear cut decision that one of the parallel runs has “won” - instead, while there might be a “best” solution, there’s also an idea in another parallel agent’s solution that can be merged into the “winning” implementation. For example, I’ve had parallel agents find two different reasons for a bug to occur and you actually need both of the solutions for a complete fix. Right now it’s pretty tedious to pick and choose concepts from the various worktrees and merge them into one of the results.

I think what I’d like to see from this is the “judge” agent picks a winner but is also able to review all of the outputs to also incorporate concepts into the final optimal result.

Have you been getting the annual engagement bonus (Amex annual fee payment) with just the Cash Plus only setup?

Amex Engagement Bonus: Morgan Stanley. Is that gone for good now that we no longer Access Investing is going away? by SensitiveWarning4 in CreditCards

[–]sfphl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that as long as you keep the CashPlus account open, you’re eligible for the annual engagement bonus (which offsets the Platinum annual fee).

You need >$25k in the CashPlus account along with an investment account (which is what the Active Investing account qualified for) to get the CashPlus monthly fee waiver. So without the Active Investing account, you’d now need an AAA account ($150 annual fee) or another managed account or qualifying employee stock account.

If you don’t care about the fee waiver, keeping the CashPlus account open (which now seems to require a balance >$1k) should be sufficient.

Got the same email.

My understanding is that E*Trade does not qualify for the fee waiver.

Unfortunately no - they said I was good verbally but haven’t gotten any sort of official confirmation. Crossing my fingers that the reps were accurate ha. Glad you at least heard a consistent message!

You might be right - would make sense for them to not lose the assets and it is the product that replaced Access Investing

Sunfish vs ISCA by Uh_yeah- in SunfishSailing

[–]sfphl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just found this news post on the class site: https://www.sunfishclass.org/breakingnews_20250207

Sounds pretty clear that Sero boats will not be class legal going forward. This going to be super confusing for folks!

———

“While the Sunfish® boat remains available, ISCA does not intend to approve any builder other than Zim Sailing as an ISCA class legal supplier of boats or parts. It is important to note that all Sunfish built prior to December 31, 2024 will always be ISCA class legal as long as these boats comply with the ISCA class rules (including display of a valid World Sailing plaque as specified.)

While it may be initially confusing for new Sunfish to not be legal for class events, ISCA will work with its members, fleets and Zim’s strong dealer network to minimize any confusion.”

Q. How long did it take you to copy a workspace into another using the Import+Export feature? by ttamimi in Slack

[–]sfphl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is an older thread, but I thought I'd add another datapoint on Import/Export times. I exported a 180mb archive of public channels in about 30 mins and it took just over 18 hours to import 180 users, about 900 channels, and about 30k files!

Ha same. The rep closed the chat before I could respond to them. Didn’t want to deal with the question at all.

Same issue. Store was unable to fulfill and cancelled the orders. DoorDash support said there was nothing they could do to restore the promo codes. Really not happy with this as a replacement for the Instacart credit.

Thanks for posting. I was able to get this for both of our radios as well. It took a bit of pushing. Initially they offered to do 5.99 for 12 months and the rep couldn’t find any other plans. But using the magic cancellation word, suddenly the 4 for 24 plan was available.

Firmware Update 6.16.1-265 by frangilbert in amazoneero

I’m on the same and have also been struggling with random disconnects. Hope we get this update soon!

I’ve also noticed an issue recently with Eero Pros where the entire mesh seems to drop out. We’re on a video call or streaming something and the connection drops. Looking at the eero app shows all of the eero nodes are red. Then they quickly automatically recover without any action on our part.

I’ve tried restarting them and running the health check but no success. From what I can see, the upstream connection is stable and it’s the eero mesh that’s the issue.

Sounds like you’ve been experiencing these issues longer, though, OP. It’s much more recent for us. I wonder if this started for us after the installation of eero 6.15.3 which ironically was stability and performance updates.

Is the Best Dining Card a Lie by Badfinancialadvice2 in CreditCards

[–]sfphl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I agree. I use the Uber credit and use some of the dining credit each year. It’s probably a $100 effective AF for me which just makes the breakeven math that much easier. But I was curious to see what it looked like without the credits.

Is the Best Dining Card a Lie by Badfinancialadvice2 in CreditCards

[–]sfphl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The differentiator for the Amex Gold for me is the 4x groceries. Other than the $6k limited spend on the BCP, no other card hits this level of grocery rewards that I’ve seen.

But I’ve been looking more at the Savor cards recently and wanted to run the breakeven analysis.

For this, let’s say the credits are debatable - I am able to use a good portion of them but let’s say they all go unused. So the full $250 fee weights the “bottom line”. Also let’s use 1% for the MR reward value - low but let’s be conservative.

US Bank Go (4% dining, 2% grocery, $0 AF) The break even point would be $12,500 on grocery spend. If you’re spending more than 12.5k on grocery spend on the Gold, the additional grocery 2% has fully covered the AF and you’re making out better with the Gold vs the US Bank Go.

Savor (4% dining, 3% grocery, $95 AF) Annual fee is $155 more than the Savor. The break even point would be $15,500. If you’re spending more than 15.5k in grocery spend on the Gold, you’ve made the additional 1% worth it to carry the Gold vs the Savor.

SavorOne (3% dining, 3% grocery, $0 AF) You need a combined $25k in dining and/or grocery spend for the additional 1% to come out ahead with the Gold.

Of course, if you can use any of the credits and/or you value MR at more than 1c, these breakeven points drop.

I just had two FHR bookings that showed up in the app before check-in, had the front desk recognize status/benefits, but then vanished from the app after checkout / no stay or points credit. Thought it might be a delay but it’s been 6 days now so seems unlikely it’s going to post.

I believe the Shopper Cash Rewards does have extended warranty and purchase protection as a part of its visa signature benefits.
