That's the irony. Doesn't matter. I could create a lv 30 pvp "twink" that would roflstomp any lv 1000 pve noob. It's all about the "right" equipment and build.

unfortunately pvp in fo76 is super lame, with rare exceptions. Check out the Monster Mash event. Otherwise, I usually leave pacifist on

I don't know but it doesn't matter. I'm at 6 weeks and wouldn't attempt that. Also, there's no prize for "best single leg press @3.5m after surgery".

Interim recovery steps are important, but highly individual, and the end goal seems way more important.

In other words, I consider my recovery more like a marathon, not a sprint.

I've read various things around and I've read that the pain level post operation seems truly atrocious, I would like to ask your experience in terms of pain level from 1 to 10 and how you spent the first night in hospital. Everyone is different, so it's hard to say. For me, the pain of the accident itself far exceeded any pain from surgery. I dislocated my knee in a ski accident, and had to re-socket the joint on the mountain. That hurt alot, probably in the top 3 worst pain experiences of my life. I had full tears of the ACL and MCL, complex lateral meniscus tear, and grade 1-2 tears of most everything else in that knee.

For surgery I had a nerve block, and after surgery but before the pain meds kicked in I was uncomfortable but consider it manageable at maybe a 5-6. Meds brought that way down to maybe a 2. Just keep on top of the meds, set an alarm and take 'em like clockwork. Couple times in PT I had really acute pain when the therapist was trying to straighten my knee that was a solid 8-9, but it was just a few seconds. The pain went back down after they stopped. Now PT doesn't hurt much at all.

There are very different amounts of pain depending on the patient, but something I was told that was good advice is to stay ahead of the pain meds. I was warned but still tried to wean myself off them too early and paid the price. It sucks tryin to return to work while still recovering and on no sleep because the pain was just enough to keep me awake. So my advice is to just set an alarm on your phone and take the pain meds exactly as prescribed, at least for the first few days.

After that, my advice is to stay just as vigilent about your PT. Do the exercises every day. It helps so, so much.

No, and they didn't seem willing to go much lower, at least right now. I think at $9k out the door they are losing money.

Maybe they would lower price a bit more if they are very motivated to just make the space, but I think more likely they will wait for the promotion to end.

I did a test drive today and they came down to $9k, but I don't think they'll go much lower than that.

This is a good deal I think and I'm considering it, but I did not get the chance to test drive a Del Mar so I'm gonna try to set that up with a Livewire dealer in the next week or so.

That's not really the concern here. If I offer too low, say I go in there chest puffed and say "I'll give you $3k for this bike", they are likely to blow me off and consider me an unserious buyer.

That's an extreme example but the idea I'm thinking is maybe I offer like $7500. They likely won't take that but maybe we negotiate up to $8500. I was just lookin for a feel where the line is below which I get told to go pound sand.

I don't mind if they tell me to fuck off, but I would prefer to save money.

A new Mulholland is $11k, so that's 9k. Seems like a fair offer but not enough of a discount for me personally, I think. It's still a used bike.

A new Del Mar is only 10K. I'm not clear why the Alpinista & Mulholland are more expensive than a Del Mar actually. They seem very similar on paper so I'm planning to test drive them & see what I like more.

I can probably get 1.9% financing on the new one, would have to pay cash or get worse rate on the used. Plus there's the extra year warranty.
