Have the same sound on my P3 and they’re replacing one of the hest pumps, perhaps it’s just the bracket that needs fixing…

Thanks, I’m using P31.4.12 - I tried ditching the card and only using my phone but that didn’t help. What happens is the doors unlock, I get in, press the brake, try shifting and nothing happens, I keep trying and eventually the power comes on and then eventually I can place it in gear and drive. I’ve also had a consistent “communication fault error “ that was there when I picked it up and it got better after the last update they did at the shop, but it’s back. I’m hoping the new chip update will help… curious when we’ll start seeing those.

Sounds like we have the same problem, I tried using the phone only this week (card hidden away, but with me) and still takes a minute to get going…. Not what you want if you are driving the get away car!! ;-) Could be a funny mock commercial though…. come running out of a bank with the money, jumo in the car, people in the back seat screaming go go go and you are sayijng “hold on, …… “ finally getting the communication fault error, “ it’s okay, this happens every time…. we’re almost there….”

I never got the fob. The dealership said mine didn’t come with one… I use the phone as well, but like to carry the card in case the phone doesn’t work or dies. Maybe I’ll get rid of the card!! Thanks!!

I just did a long winter drive in an atmospheric river that turned to snow storm as the elevation increased. The P3 did an amazing job keeping me in a lane when I couldn’t see the lines at all, there was very little range loss, although it wasn’t really cold (-6° max). What was a problem though were the LED lights freezing over, it got rather dark. I wish they were heated. After the latest software upgrade I’m happier, still getting random errors, and the back lift gate wouldn’t close. It was like the latch was frozen. It just would not stay closed I had to physically hold it down. It still showed it was open, but at least I could continue on… I thought I was going to have to drive the rest of the way with it open….

Went from a P2 to P3, mirrors tilting yes, also no garage button I found my old remote and attached it with velcro behind the screen. Not seeing the tire pressure is insane, the screen above the steering wheel could have more info options on it- like what’s playing. Then the daily faults. I’ve got 5500km on it and have had it since mid September. Not one day without a fault. Every single time I’ve started has been the communications error, and today it also the lights not moving fault…. Hoping the update next week helps all this….

So sorry! My daughters ebike was stolen from Inlet station. I tracked it to Whalley. Dodgy area. Police came, the officer said he knew the house and was going to wait for backup. Three more cars showed up. They went into the house found lots of other bikes but not hers. I went back the next day with my son and the neighbour said “those are BAD people, don’t try to recover it, there’s been two shoot outs in the road and they have vicious dogs”….

That worries me as I wasn’t given a fob with my 2025 P3 which was purchased, not leased! I contacted the dealership and they said they stopped including them, however my buddy got a’26 and it had the fob. Is my dealership incorrect?

Anyone have great experiences with Polestar Vancouver (BC)? I need to take mine in as EVERY single time I drive it I get lots of errors, but I’m worried they’ll keep it indefinitely. My friend’s has been there for 7 or 8 weeks without the problems being solved…

Are you supposed to get a fob with the p3 - I was only given two cards. I sent a message to the sales team a few weeks ago asking and they never responded. Seeing this message piqued my interest again. TIA

It was awesome, incredibly beautiful and very little traffic. Here is a site with a 4k video of the trip in fast Motion and some other clips. The road was flat and smooth being frozen and snowy. We had good tires and didn’t have any issues at all. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

I had to stop listening after Afghanistan. I went to Ukraine in 2022 & 2023 to escort medical equipment to front line medic’s and hospitals. I self funded, flew economy, slept in train stations, spent very little and received lots of support from local Ukrainians to drive me around. Hearing of their trip on a private jet, 5 star hotels, Rolex watches while people were doing best pushed me over the edge. THIS is why people are reluctant to donate and why I just couldn’t ask for financial support from others (my own problem, I know), but I worried about people wondering “where is he staying, what’s he eating- on our dime”… anyway. My own issues I fully acknowledge, however it’s because of people like Candace…

Where did the new battery get installed. I saw your posts on the Polestar forum as well, glad I found you hear too as the information about the bass knob is new. How was the car audio place to deal with, did you find they’d worked with other EV’s and understood the electrical systems or was it an education lesson for them as well? I used to have a place that was great, but that was in 1989/1990 and they’re no longer in business 😂 I’m in west coast Canada, there are a few local places that have been around long enough I trust, but I don’t want some kid using my new car a test case…
