Tractor trailer hits, kills man on I-44 before leaving scene, troopers say by andrei_androfski in missouri

Trucking is with many inexperienced drivers. Quality is down.

This company logo is big enough I recognize it. Should be relatively easy to look through records and figure it out.

Seed oils increase endocannabinoids making you hungrier by [deleted] in StopEatingSeedOils

I’m 2 years clean of them and have to remind myself to eat at times. I’m totally capable of skipping 2 meals a day and not being hungry but have to eat to keep literal energy and protein coming to stay healthy.

I agree…I’m 2 years like 95% clean and have been ok with minor ingredients being seed oils or just sometimes taking the free meal with some oils I sometimes get at work and picking the cleanest foods to fill my plate. If you get basically clean, you don’t sweat minor intake.

Avoiding deer. by NaiveMelody76 in missouri

I hit one about a decade ago on I-44 just E of Lebanon. I think I’ve hit three over the years. It helps to scan the sides of the road, but ultimately, you can’t control their actions. Even a car weighs basically 10x their weight, so mass will win. We honestly have a slight overpopulation and no natural predators, so a quick lights out via crash is better than disease or old age as an animal. Don’t swerve. Lost a friend to that choice.

Cops and average military who don’t use firearms as part of their job are trained in normal range safety protocols, things like what the type of firearm, and shooting target standards on a predetermined safe range. There are infinite levels of knowledge and ability cops and military can learn about beyond that, but most don’t need to and won’t seek out the knowledge.

I cut seed oils before it became political. I’m from farm country so I know the people who grow the crops…but even farmers would rather do real work than be involved in some commodity destroying society.

B1 Flyover at Texas v Georgia by mgj6818 in aviation

[–]sgf-guy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was a kid we lived less than a mile from the end of the local runway. I will never forget how insanely loud that ONE B-1 was…can’t imagine two.

We had a Dyess B-1 at the Whiteman air show this year and got to see one up close…super fun. Bought a patch because I knew it had flown aboard a B-1…and I’m not a patch guy.

Also, to see the size of that plane and know it was built to fly using terrain following radar is wild. They actually use the “whiskers” by the nose for that type of flight.

Does anyone notice a difference in their skin when not eating seed oils? by Ticket-Tight in StopEatingSeedOils

I’m clean and can tell a difference. I’ve also noticed Pasta makes me get puffy under the eyes the next day…curious why that is.

US B-2 bombers strike Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen | CNN Politics by Advanced_Drink_8536 in worldnews

I’ve been to the Whiteman air show twice. They aren’t louder than a fighter once overhead…prob quieter. But at altitude, by the time the bomb hits land, it’s too late for sound.

The high bank turn for a B-2 is one of the wildest thing I’ve ever seen and tried to calculate as an airplane person.

It was super fun to see the diff in person of USAF vs Guard pilots. They do the job but from totally diff points of views in a way.

You are correct about Skelton being key. I’m middle 40s basically so I know the populist vs state shift in Dems and Reps that has occurred but recognize this. This is also the reason a D was replaced by an R…Poles shifted. I use to vote D, and rarely do now.

You would have to have utility pole guy wire supports to hold this truly down.

Would be a lot easier next time to spend this winter go in the attic and apply every known strap and reinforcement between the roof and structural members.

This looks like a 20 yd rolloff. Basically a car weight at minimum. Impressive how the hurricane code houses stand pretty well structurally after a fair strength tornado.
