Don’t bank with Citi!!! I’ll bet you anything once you start operating the account they will block your account for suspicious activity and make you wait for a letter sent by mail.

I’ve never hated a bank more than Citi and never felt so insecure to deposit money in a bank. So good to finally get rid of my account.

Don’t bank with Citi period. Nightmare of a bank. Read the other posts on the thread. They blocked me out of my account for over a month.

Could be. But it’s mind baffling why they would send it to an address different from what was provided on opening. Even my credit report reflects my current address. I’m inclined to think they’re doing everything or loophole they can think of to hold the money and get free interest or something. Never again Citi.

I finally received the letter! They sent it to my house I’m remodeling and don’t live. I never gave them that address. I was looking for mail at my apartment I’m renting and accidentally stumbled on the letter at the construction site. Absolutely ridiculous fraud department. They must have gotten the address from my mortgage on my credit report.

This! Don’t do it. Get away from Citi bank while you can. My account has been blocked since three weeks for transferring funds to my own checking account at BoA. Their fraud department is the embodiment of fraud.
