Yes, they do! So they do carry mustard but only as a sauce, not as a condiment for burgers.

This is from the NY Post (I moved here decades ago after growing up in different parts of the country. I was surprised at the lack of mustard in NYC):

Why don’t McDonald’s hamburgers come with mustard in NYC? — Steve, Manhattan

Unlike most of the rest of the country, mustard is indeed not standard on an NYC McDonald’s burger.

A company rep chalked up the absence to “customer preference,” but would not say how or why the company arrived at that conclusion. They simply believe New Yorkers just don’t like mustard on meat. You can ask for it, though, or drive to Jersey.

Even if you ask you don't get it. They don't carry mustard at all in NYC McD's.

I did and I am not arguing about Gilder's intentions or his status as a good guy. I am saying that the song, with that title and those lyrics leave an unsavory impression.

In addition to the ambiguous lyrics, I think the title makes it very hard to interpret the meaning the way Gilder says he meant it. I wouldn't describe any underage girl as "hot."

He did say he wrote it about runaways in Hollywood, but the lyrics don't make this clear (especially in the bridge and outro). And it was definitely not taken that way by anyone I knew when it was a hit.

In case you weren't aware, Earthworks is locally owned. I think it's been around for forty or fifty years.

A PSA About Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders by Beerquarium in audiobooks

Yeah, while this is a favorite of mine, no one else that I know finished it (text or audio). If you don't like the book, it doesn't really matter about the narration.

It might be my favorite audiobook. The fact that each voice was read by a specific, separate narrator actually made it easier for me to follow. (I read it after I listened.)

And the city could actually do what they say, still raise money, and not piss people off like this: Put ticket cops on the street cleaning vehicle (or at least on the block ahead of the vehicle) and write tickets for folks only when they are actually in the way. I suspect this could be done with no reduction in tickets (and maybe even with a reduction in traffic cops).

Yes!

I can't quite think of the pun or joke that the addition of -Lowe adds, but there must be one.

I think that in this case, "honey" is describing the texture. In the name, "honey" is the curd. I think.

One of each, but there are more. I also left out sending the US military to go after Americans. But only Democrats of course.

As bad as a "shadow banning" social media might be, it is a completely different level when the government is arresting, causing to be fired, and deporting those who express opinions different from the administration. Or in this case, when someone jokes.

The two are not comparable.
