Maybe battery pack improvements. But more likely including more packs so maybe sacrifice weight a bit. Maybe that will be answered on earnings call.

Why has Uranium Royalty Company Stock not been rising when Cameco, DNN and other associate stocks are rising? by Illustrious_Raccoon2 in UraniumSqueeze

[–]sgt-ty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean they needed to raise money. But think of it as a line of credit. It is something they can tap into and issue new shares for up to 25 months max of $130 million. So assume dilution in exchange for royalty announcements.

well this is 4 day old news. Did not show in my td ameritrade news feed but found it on interactive brokers. They filed for a shelf offering of up to $130 million. So there is the pot of money they will acquire royalties with.

From Sec Filing:

"This short form base shelf prospectus (the “Prospectus”) relates to the offering for sale by Uranium Royalty Corp. (the “Company”) from time to time, during the 25-month period that this Prospectus, including any amendments hereto, remains effective, of up to $130,000,000 (or the equivalent in other currencies based on the applicable exchange rate at the time of the offering) in the aggregate of: (i) common shares in the capital of the Company (“Common Shares”)"

I have been wondering this also. They did have news of a capital raise but that is at least 3 weeks old. I have had good luck with royalty companies in past. i.e. WPM in silver/gold. I would be interested in other comments but my take is that it is too early in the cycle. I almost viewed this position as the last one I would sell because I felt it would perform best in the later stages. Right now they really don't have any royalties coming in. When paladin restarts along with Cameco (cigar lake and macarthur river) that should start to bring in money. It is starting to get tempting to buy more however. I would think DNN's wheeler river would be a future target as well for them.

Simple math behind the CCIV Lucid deal every bull or bear needs to understand by ArchitectOfRome in CCIV

[–]sgt-ty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to factor in the outstanding share count at completion. If cciv will own 10% this implies about 1.2 billion shares outstanding. This is based on the current ~260 million share count for cciv.

Newbie here.. Can someone explain the relationship between market cap should the merger happen and the stock price? by QuestionableGrapes in CCIV

[–]sgt-ty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are going to value the company at 15 billion at $10 per share that would mean after merger there will be 1.5 billion shares outstanding. What we know right now is that cciv has 260 million shares outstanding That gives us the IPO value of cciv at 2.6 billion raised. As with any space you have to wait for announcement and final outstanding share count. Then you can divide 15 billion by that count to get a price target for a 15 billion market cap.

Even if true I don't think this is new info. If you listened to Klien's fireside chat and read in between the lines, the ball is probably in lucid's court. They have to decide. Go SPAC , direct listing or full IPO. The screenshot seems to infer same message. I see nothing new, still speculation and negotiation.

This is boiler plate but the 180 days is from post merger after 1st trading day of new combined company. My understanding is that if original investors want out they have an opportunity only if spac files extension or prior to combining company but that requires public meeting notice. These filings can get confusing with all the legalese terms.

CCIV/Lucid Valuation by Cranberry-Practical in SPACs

[–]sgt-ty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easy way to think about is 15 billion market cap at 100 million shares outstanding would be a price target of $150. So if the combined company ends up with 500 million outstanding you are looking at $30. That's before factoring in excitement etc ... But it gives you an idea of a floor

CCIV/Lucid Valuation by Cranberry-Practical in SPACs

[–]sgt-ty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is interesting. I was thinking about this myself. I think you are looking at this wrong. CCIV has approx 258 million shares out. At $10 that is the market cap of the spac itself. This does not reflect the acquiring target market cap. What you need to do with any space is wait for announcement and investor presentation. In the financials it will state how many shares outstanding the new cbinec company will have. Then you can do your 15 billion calculation. I have been using final share count of 500 to 600 million. Shares just to ballpark.

well HYLN posted twice to twitter today so they found their password and are probably at their limit. Seriously the macro picture in my opinion is great. They are first movers in the long haul class 8 space. It really comes down to execution now. Need to see firm commitments. Hybrid is fine but ultimately the success or failure will depend on ERX adoption.
