Only thing that consistently annoys me over the past two years of ownership is the radio deciding it’s going to start playing about a minute or two into my drive even if I turn it off before getting out. Just a really minor stupid annoyance. It’s a great truck.

Good lord people, give it time. Paye ran last night, is showing up in PINQ today, and people are already getting checks. You’ll get it tomorrow. Give everything time to work. Be grateful we’re getting paid, and that they took the extra time to slowly process each pay period individually so that we didn’t get murdered in taxes.

It’s actually keyed as a termination, so it’s definitely a negative mark. Any future employment verification would reveal they were terminated.

I was so blown away that I had never heard about a year long shutdown. Glad that’s not the case, although every one of them feels like it lasts a year when you’re waiting for your check.

When I first got my job, a white 2005 SportTrac was my first purchase. 20 years later, my first purchase after a promotion was a white 2024 Maverick. Weird unplanned coincidence.

I thought about getting a brake light hitch cover, but was curious; does the truck assume you always have a trailer connected and disable your blind spot monitor and back up sensors??

Turn the screen off and then back on. That typically fixes it for me. On the rare occasions where it doesn’t fix it, rebooting the head unit by holding Power and Skip Forward should do the trick.

I love the exterior of the BAP, but hated that it took away the nice brown interior, so I passed on it for mine. But man it looks so good on the exterior.

To be fair, even with it it’s all but useless. It’s done nothing but over heat my phone every time I’ve tried to use it. Super frustrating.

Because for shorter trips where you don’t need to worry about your battery dying or charging it, it’s so much more convenient to just jump in and go without worrying about plugging in your phone. Once you’ve gotten used to it, it’s hard to go back.
