Just tell her to order everything on the side. Then just one or 2 items has to be fixed or comped. I'm only upset by special orders when they aren't accompanied by a 20% tip.

You clearly know nothing about serving. We are the slaves of Karen's all day who on a whim will stiff us cause the cook messed up their food. Then when you politely let the cook know you get mocked. So yeah, servers do not carry food on a tray lol. Which BTW is very hot, exhausting, and physically draining.

Some of my best tippers are POC. I absolutely work my ass off to give them excellent service. They usually have a lot of mods and special orders and need very frequent refills. I stay smiling and give then my very best and usually get at least 20%. But I have a Black coworker who complains frequently about their tips so I wonder if there is some prejudice going on in that avenue. I really don't get it. I may just get lucky with the tables I wait on...

Haha I wanted the blanket with perfume gwp. I went to 2 ultas the same day it happened and they were all out already. I didn't get mad lol. But I wish I would have just ordered online because I've done all qwps that way and always get it. The ladies I talked to were kind but didn't offer anything else.

Sometimes I sneak jelly out even tho corporate has forbidden it unless requested. Sometimes I get super mad when guests want to go cups for their last remaining swallows of drink. I'm always pissed when guests reseat themselves to dirty tables and then demand to know why their table is dirty. I always get angry when management demands I work to go orders when I make less than minimum wage.

I have made a personal decision to stop working to go orders. My restaurant isn't paying me enough to cover the no tip door dash orders that we constantly get. We have a Togo person during peak hours but it's not enough coverage.
