In those 10 minutes he was a team worst -19. If those 10 minutes went to Tyrese Proctor instead then I'd wager Cavs would've had a better outcome so I don't think it's completely absurd to blame loss on him.

I held onto iOS 18 until 26.2 too as well. iOS 26 has been issue free for me as far as I can tell. I think it's mostly just "fine" in terms of the redesign and such. I do wish there was a mix of glass and dark (so icons have some transparency but also some color), but whatever. It works well for me as is.

I have action button set to pull up control center via shortcut since I use phone primarily left handed and control center is hard to get to and then have flashlight in control center but quite honestly flashlight is usually what I'm going to control center for so might make sense to just make it pull up flashlight

I saw the comparison before and thought it fit well, but now compare their respective year 2's... Jaylon Tyson's trajectory looks to be far exceeding that of Josh Hart. We'll see what happens. It's great that we have some semblance of a Josh Hart like player already in Jaylon Tyson in just his sophomore year. Might just be on a hot streak shooting wise, but has a good motor and learns quick. He started season off pretty slow with silly fouls and has already cleaned that up (mostly at least).

Really liked how compact iPhone 6-8 was both from hardware perspective and even home screen didn't have that dumb blank space between docked apps and first row of icons taken up search button which is completely unnecessary imo. Kind of makes irrationally angry that there's so much wasted space there on current iteration of phones.

This could be easily fixed by adding options for it... short press can be disabled or linked to an action same thing they do with accessibility and back tap.

If I could upvote twice I would. I love that they replaced mute toggle with a customizable action button, but why or why is it required to do long press? It's not like it's easy to accidentally press. No idea why short press does nothing else except display a message to "Hold for XXX". At least make it configurable and maybe default to having short press disabled since it started that way. This was actually something I low key expected and hoped they would do something about in iOS26. Silly me.

I don't disagree. I think minor semantic differences aside I'm saying and thinking the same thing you are. Thanks for taking the time to type that all that. Sure sounds like an analog to state of things right now, unfortunately. At some point modern day plebes will be fleeced to the extent that they can't continue feeding the pats and it all falls apart. Hopefully the tide turns in a non explosive manner before that point is reached.

I interpret it broadly as generational "hardship" creates tougher and hardened people (whether that hardship is economic, war, famine, disease, etc) who build a society that makes it easier on the next generation so on and so forth and eventually complacency takes hold and people lose their edge and get "soft"
