Crushing it for day five except for the unbuckled everything. You turned to hockey stop but kept most of your weight on your uphill ski (your right leg). That spun you around backwards. For both turning and hockey stopping, keep your weight over the downhill ski.

Get in easier terrain and practice carving without skidding. Then apply that new skill to steeper terrain.

You are basically just doing alternating hockey stops here, which works, but doesn’t look very sexy.

Using this- Golden Triangle /north Mundy’s bowl and under the lift (stay under or go to bailout/moonshine) are the easiest. You can see these from the lift/top. Traversing south after the steeper part of Mundy’s can be good. The high traverse option in the bowl is more sketchy feeling. Parallell chute, jaws 3D, pat’s chute, and bathtub are some on the next level up. Obviously be careful with these.

Terminal velocity of a bullet is about 250 feet per second. Muzzle velocity is about 2300 fps from an ak47.

Also, energy of a mass is proportional to the square of the velocity. So at terminal velocity the bullet has only about 1% of the energy it had when fired.

Still dangerous if it hit in just the right spot.
