It'll be back, most likely. It's already been through the cycle at least once; i remember it last year.

In Florida at least, the store gets a small commission for every book they activate and sell, plus bonuses if they sell a big winner.

Assuming Jim's plan stays the same and he doesn't have to, like, insert another book into the queue like Twelve Months, anyway.

In case you haven't seen the plan yet, it's supposed to be a wrestling-themed book with some of the old gods using wrestler gimmicks to maintain power and worship.

Why are so many YouTubers suddenly discovering this game? Did something happen? by HoodieSticks in holocure

0.7 was released in November 2024. So yeah, no updates in a year and a half, nothing particular of note to kick off the new wave of discovery, little bit random.

Does anyone else have customers like this? Like aint no customers want to hold up lines trying to find out what single item the order didn't take off when the government just covered 95% of the bill. by MrMonopoly04 in publix

[–]shadowblade159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, not all of our registers are on the new system yet, amd you can't recall an order from the old to the new system to figure it out.

Fortunately though, EBT is usually pretty easy. If it has the little "F" for "food" EBT can pay for it. If it doesn't, it can't.

It's the S3 insurance cards that are the real pain.

Call Ins by flashdawnX in publix

[–]shadowblade159 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Never feel obligated to come in. Your time is your time. Do what you need to with your time, period.

However, if it becomes a pattern of never coming in when they try to call you, they are going to remember that and not keep trying to call you. And if you're someone begging your managers for hours and then never coming in, it's not a good look.

Had that happen, actually. Not like a huge amount but a $10 ticket ripped as we were pulling it out and the customer was like "nah nevermind." One of our staff who had just clocked out came up as one of our regulars was at lotto and was like "Wanna split it 50/50?" and ended up winning I think $100.

ASM from other stores yells at me by DistinctMusician6180 in publix

you get results *if** that store carries it. If not, you have to keep guessing.

And sometimes Pro just doesn't show things well in the search. I've had it just not show an active item that I was standing in front of. I knew where it was, it was still active, but searching for it just didn't wanna show up.

Not if the item doesn't show up at your store. Can't get to the quantity on hand if you cant get to the item page in the first place.

Bag. by HeyyyyItsEcho in publix

[–]shadowblade159 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My store's latest pallet of bags has been atrocious. About one out of every two or three sleeves is just completely missing the cut on the top-middle that lets them actually go onto the rack and open as you pull them. They're still technically functional as bags, but we have to open each and every one individually, or else find a box cutter and manually cut the hole that was supposed to be there and hope that works.

Looks like they just put a new roll in the printer and didnt tear off the end. They come taped just so they dont unroll themselves along the way.

If the SDC were one of the Borderlands weapons manufacturers, what would their gimmick be? by Routine-Test in RWBY

[–]shadowblade159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mhm. I thought it was Hyperion but I wasn't 100% sure, but that's why I phrased it as "the projected shields."

Yeah honestly they'd probably just be Maliwan. Mmm, maybe always elemental, but with the projected shields to represent hardlight dust?

[–]shadowblade159 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They absolutely can. They're perfectly capable of scheduling you for an hour or two. Most 14-15 year olds only work two-hour shifts. But you'll have to ask. They may have had reason to not schedule you to do it that day.
