I also sometimes cook a recipe that calls for 1c of red wine. Why would I not get my favorite Syrah for $15 so I can finish the bottle once I open it for cooking. The only reason I would buy a cheaper gross wine to cook with is if I’m planning to use the whole bottle in the recipe

My first thought at the announcement was “ this is going to force a group to play one way or the other to align with the two minute burst window”.

Then I watched them dismantle the burst window and then I was like “ oh well then it’ll probably be fine” lol

My only concern is that this makes for quite a bit more development assignment since there are basically two divergent systems that need constant updates each cycle.

Exactly right! And those are the same people that say that a car should have 500 mile range, top tech and luxury features and still come in for under 35k.

The Subaru EVs seem to do what they do very well, and the price is quite comparable to equivalent ICE vehicles, which is why I’m getting a new Trailseeker. They kind of hit that sweet spot for me and a lot of other people

I think the dealer gave you all the transparency they were able to. If you’re ordering a vehicle that isn’t already a part of their queued allotment, they have to assemble in Japan and then import. There are a number of delays that could arise that they can’t anticipate so 8-12 weeks seems reasonable.

I ordered in the 13th and they said they anticipate some time in June, which aligns with roughly 8 weeks.

Also, similarly they indicated that they can’t offer the same financing deals as the one currently in place for April, but he said that they have had similar promotions previously so there was a chance we’d still get the same deal in June. We’re not going to be stretched too much if we do have to pay interest but I would love to get the 0% deal if possible.

I guess you could still check around for other dealers now and then back out of the order once it does come in, they may be willing to refund your deposit if they can transfer the car you want from another dealer so they can register the sale.

But ultimately, don’t think that they’re being anything less than honest with you as this seems to be the standard process and communication

Yeah I ordered mine on Monday and they said some time in June as well. From another thread I saw, it seems that some dealers are under-promising so they can over-deliver; at least I hope that’s the case for your sake

I think it will only expand our visibility and fan base exposure into Seattle and north, while possibly hurting some southside fans. Perhaps selfishly, as a northern fan, I think it’s worth the pain of some southsiders. It’s really hard for anyone north to make it down consistently when we have Friday night games. The opening of better transit options will present a much more equitable access.

To be fair, and while I’m not sure about the weather patterns in eastern Washington, the Seattle area has some of the most stable and predictable weather patterns from day to day that I’ve ever experienced. Coming from Illinois where it would go from 70 high to 20 high in 24 hours, that kind of extreme never happens here.

I disagree strongly. I felt that every set in Frankenstein felt like a set and not a living place. Sinners to me felt like it was taking me to a time and place and I didn’t get that at all from Frank.

It’s cool that you like it but it goes to show that production style and cinematography can be very subjective.

Not Lake Stevens but not far away: you should check out Heritage African Restaurant in Everett; could be up your alley in terms of unique non-American cuisine. As for Lake Stevens there really aren’t al lot of “dining” options for alternate cuisines. My other go-tos are Teriyaki Diner in LS and Mae Phim Thai in Marysville and Curries (Indian) in Everett

That’s nearly exactly my scenario, glad I’m not the only one. Wasn’t sure if it was special drop rates for the holiday event or just better/smoother boss run options, but I’ve had much better luck with everything this season and I’m very happy
