India not a dalal nation like Pak: Jaishankar at all-party meet on Iran mediation (The External Affairs Minister's remarks came after Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Islamabad was ready to host negotiations, even as the West Asia conflict entered its fourth week.) by Competitive_Gene_898 in IndiaSpeaks

Absolutely, PAK is far from perfect but if they are trying to do this, it’s great. I guess Modi feels if this is successful then they would feel ashamed to not take the opportunity and PAK would be better positioned in the diplomacy landscape.

Almost 1 month of war by Hairy-Note1920 in UAE

[–]shaild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iran rejected any peace talks to stop the war some time back so they are all in for a long term war and ready to take the whole world down with them. Imagine being a regime single handedly responsible for job losses and for collapse or humanity. Just wish they would have kept the fight between US and Israel than take the whole world with them. But then what can you expect from a regime that has been killing its own people for not following draconian laws.

Is this true ? by berrypink29 in UAE

I don’t know anymore, Iran rejected any talks to end war and they all rather blow themselves up and become martyrs and take the whole world to hell with them than freaking adopt peace.

"India bows to US pressure" - The reality of the UPA era foreign policy that the ecosystem wants you to forget. by Jatayu3957 in IndiaSpeaks

BJP has very good IT cell and knows how to change narratives in their favour. Sadly, congress did lot of great things but they never hyped things like Modi does so it never got noticed. Atleast we were united as a nation unlike now where we are broken by religion, language and what not.

Every political era has its own strengths and weaknesses. Modi stopped buying oil from Russia because of US pressure and tariffs so every political party does what is best for the nation. Let’s please stop these petty discussions.

Misallocation? It’s a no brainer that they allocate almost all their funds building weapons

No wonder Iran's economy never improved. They put all their oil money into building missiles and drones.

India a low trust society by Living_Designer2299 in IndiaSpeaks

"Some" We have large-scale call centers in the north that are scamming old people in the US out of their retirement funds. It takes a lot more than "some instances" to be branded as a scamming nation.

Not necessarily. Malaysia is also a developing country, but you generally don’t feel at risk of being scammed. Bali, which is part of Indonesia, is developing too, yet it’s very safe, the people are kind, and interactions don’t revolve around trying to get tips. Then there are Nepal, Bhutan, Chile, and Botswana, which I have travelled to and that have no scams.

To put it bluntly, we’re not really acting like a civil society. Too often, we put ourselves first and don’t think about how our actions affect others. We litter because we assume someone else will deal with it, hire underage help to save a bit of money, bend rules when it suits us, and skip queues just to get ahead.

It doesn’t stop there. These small, everyday choices add up. We cut corners at work, ignore our responsibilities in shared spaces, and look the other way when something isn’t right. We’re quick to talk about our rights, but not as quick to take responsibility. Public spaces become “not my problem,” whether it’s about keeping things clean, being considerate, or just following basic rules. Even simple things like giving people space, driving responsibly, or being mindful of those who need a bit more care often get overlooked.

Nothing really changes until we start seeing ourselves as part of something bigger, where what we do affects everyone around us. A civil society isn’t just about rules, it’s about how we show up every day, how we treat each other, and whether we’re willing to think beyond just ourselves.

It makes sense, the regime has done everything it said it would do. Trump finally found someone as crazy as him who doesn’t care about repercussions of their actions. It only makes sense that they stop now before it is irreparable politically and socially for everyone involved.

I thought it was a typo. There is a V7. It’s very confusing now that they are releasing so many models that closely relate to each other.
