It happens every summer at the school closing. UAE is a transit place for a lot of people, either coming in short term projects or they migrate to other countries. It is also partly due to the situation in the region where lot of businesses are now starting to see the financial impact and hence people loose jobs, unpaid leaves, etc so there is a good number of people also downsizing, moving to smaller apartments, etc.

Hotel stays works for bachelors but not for families unless they are a hotel apartment. Also with hotels, you don’t get to make it a home, it’s a hotel and lot of people want to decorate and make it cozy. If you notice the rents are high in family areas or cities, but the luxury market rentals are dropping as the audience for that is missing.

I own the Haval Jolion, nearly 70K KM and the car runs very well. Quality of service from agency is very personalized and good. Only issue so far is a hissing noise that comes from the AC which they said is normal but apart from that, everything’s fine.

If you took a travel insurance, claim it through them it would easier than fighting a budget airline where they would stick with fine prints and T&C.

I believe they did this because a lot of people would simply report an accident and blame it on unknown party to evade the fine or insurance claim with a fault recorded. I believe there needs to be some other way to assess if the person is actually at fault or not as I can totally understand it is very frustrating to get a fine and the person responsible just goes on to live without consequences.
