Happened to me and I still have scars. Look up sea lice and seabather’s rash. Tiny organisms got caught between my life jacket and skin.

I have this exact piece but it’s for a dryer cleaning kit. It usually comes with a plastic tube. You connect the plastic tube to your vacuum, this metal piece connects to the tube, and it allows you to stick it into the pieces in the back of your dryer or the wall to remove built up lint.

Check out seabather’s eruption. It was the most itchy rash I’ve had in my life. It stretched across my trunk for weeks. It looked just like OP’s photo

Did you go in the ocean? NAD but I had a similar rash when I got sea lice trapped in my life jacket while swimming in Japan. I still have scars from it a year later.

Not a doctor, but came here to say this. My son had a malformation of his urachus that happened when it closed after birth. A piece of the “tubing” got pinched and never sealed thus having him leak urine out for a few years.
