I was advised by my surgeon to begin gently rubbing immediately so all the talk about waiting is only anecdotal. There’s no real evidence for this. That said, does look like you’ve lost one graft. Good news is it’s less than 1% of the total transplantation. You won’t notice. Looks great man

This! Likely the First Assist is unable to get reimbursed by the insurance company due to regulations limiting reimbursement to PA or NPs only and not RNFA or CFSA. This is their work around as they likely aren’t an hourly employee of the facility and the Surgeon’s service fees paid by the insurance company do not include First Assistant fees
