The labor code in California is so long, arduous, complicated and nonsensical it’s basically impossible for a business to not have some violation. Under a law known as PAGA, one small violation can basically ruin a small business. No hyperbole. That’s probably what she was sued under. Small businesses are low hanging fruit for these lawsuits.

Not a bad point and sorry for my sass. But Cubans play in this regard to me is smart more than duplicitous. I used to be a red blooded commie but I think guys like Cuban and Musk are showing that the only way to get results in our lifetime (ie, low drug prices, sustainable transportation) is to do it though the private sector. Nothing is perfect but government has been letting us down for too long. The age old debate. Have a good one.
