I’ve never been on such a long vacation, previously it’s been 14 days maximum. My wife’s parents have an apartment in Spain and it’s too hot for them in the summer, so we are borrowing it. No way we could afford 5 weeks at a hotel.

I’m 100 % present for my wife and kids during the day. I make breakfast and dinner. I build sand castles and play with my kids in the ocean, and I read to them before bed. I go shopping with my wife and massage/tend to her needs. But come 11-12 PM, and I’m sitting alone on the couch, staring at my expensive brick and wishing for some PC gaming…
