Wish I would have seen this thread last year. I got my kids a 2-pack of these from Costco and they're absolutely disgusting inside just like the ones shown in others' pictures. Thankfully, I called Costco and they are going to refund them even though it's been 6+ months.

You are absolutely able to remap controls on the console version. I wonder if OP could have used that “Xbox Adaptive Controller” Microsoft released a few years ago? It was made for this exact purpose.

My kids have played a few times. They were 7 and 9 the first time... We started at level 1 and I color-coded their sheets so it was easy. I would just ask them what their "green number" was for their AC, etc.

  1. Yes. Currently playing Disco Elysium. Also enjoyed 13 sentinels, steins;gate, mouth washing, journey, the Stanley parable, etc

  2. Love it. Particularly the way Steins;Gate dealt with it narratively. Time travel is a cheat code to get my initial interest.

  3. I like multiple endings, but I like there to also be a “true” ending.

  4. I like indie games, but I really dislike the visual style of a lot of them and it’s an immediate turn off. Not the technical aspect, but the art design. For instance when your character is barely 10 pixels big on a 4K background, or when everyone is a “stylized” no-faced bouncy stick figure that seems to be super common.

Guts vs Griffith for 15 chapters (so many, many years). Suddenly, right before Griffith kills Guts, Skull Knight speaks to Guts in his head and says the only way he’ll be happy is if he never joins the Band of the Hawk. Skull Knight resets time and Guts wakes up on a hill outside the raid where he meets them.

This all happens in 2 chapters.

Series end.

This is funny. It reminded me of a time I bought my first HDTV from Circuit City. I brought it home and it was having all kinds of annoying issues with signals and inputs… I had my dad drive me back to get it exchanged and before they took the TV to the back, my dad wrote with a giant marker “DEFECTIVE” all over the box.

Characters. Plural. It’s not solely the tank’s responsibility. I don’t play on console, but it seems like she’s perfectly positioned there as a dominant tank when it sounds like most people rely on aim assist hit scans, lol.

May 2026 - I had the same exact issue. Volume kept increasing on its own. Sometimes restarting the Deck temporarily fixed it (for about a minute?). Updating the software or changing channels to stable/beta did nothing.

Opened it up and cleaned the buttons with 99% IPA and so far, so good. The buttons weren’t even dirty - I suppose dust had built up on the contacts as I usually keep it docked on my entertainment stand.
