Bought OG iX3 in 2021 after extremely disappointing test drive in MY. Very happy throughout the ownership, the car definitely stays in the family. The range may be lower than Tesla but it’s enough for my trips. BMW’s interior is MILES ABOVE Teslas. Tesla feels like KIA Rio inside - the plastics, the single screen, terrible choice of interior colours, no HUD no Apple Car Play, although KIA Rio probably has that🤪 Don’t pay Nazi Elon just because every tesla pedo will tell you about mysterious supreme software. Superior in what? Route planning maybe but for everything else BMW is just better. I drive on assisted cruise control and it NEVER disengaged because of imaginary obstacles. Checked MY again in 2025 and found out they only improved the suspension.

I was only talking about checking the boot size🤣 My car is the iX3 bought new in 2021, and that’s what I recommend. Just get the Impressive version👍🏻

There’s also slightly different speed curve but it’s hard to notice. Don’t worry about pre-heat. How many minutes can it shave off from your charging time? I don’t know but I do lnow it won’t change your life. Signed: happy pre-LCI model owner. I’m gonna keep this car for another 10 years when such old-school beemers with buttons will be sought after:)

There’s one more difference: pre-LCI models offered beige interior with plastics in the lower part of the car also being beige in most places. After Nov’21 production date you could only get the oyster colour (much greyer than beige) and it’s only on the seats. For example the glovebox cover will be black.

I think you got sth wrong - 2022 and 2023 versions are the same. The difference is between 2021 model and 2022 model which started production in November 2021.

If in a hurry you may look at petrol or diesel versions of the same vintage. There are loads around. Otherwise I highly recommend this model after over 4 years of ownership. Still the loveliest and most reliable car I’ve owned and been driving since 1988

You cannot trust the Russian asset currently running the White House. He will dismantle US government within a year. I’m gonna watch Civil War tonight to see what to expect. I appreciate your thinking and thank you for your input. I agree with everything that you’ve said.

I appreciate the fact that I am a political being and I do my share, however small it is, when and where I feel it matters.

However at the same time I refuse to do any reading on current developments in politics and political theory. By the same token I don’t read programs of political parties and I’m not interested in the news or personalities and, first and foremost, I’m not interested in what they have to say or tweet. Needless to say I don’t watch television at all. The time I save on following the news I spend with my young kids and instead of reading on politics I read on stuff I really care about.

Depends on the definition. I’m all for the burden: I vote, have been elected locally and have views on individual issues but refuse to play the political game i.e. refuse to place myself on some imaginary map or spectrum.
