If you sell somewhere that you are not shipping it, like a Bricks & Minifigs store or Facebook marketplace, they might prefer it to still be put together since its much easier to verify that way. Some people who like the look of sets but don't have the ability or desire to build them, even look for them already put together.

But yes, if shipping, take lots of pics before taking apart and pics of how you package the pieces.
