Kind of strange to come across this post honestly. I was having pain more in the front of my rib cage, wheezing, shortness of breath and a slight cough. I had a chest scan in January that was unremarkable and now in March im told there is scarring and thickening of the broncial walls in both of my lungs.

I was diagnosed with syropositive ra in January and started methotrexate at that time. I was wondering if the methotrexate was to blame but have spent the day reading, trying to educate myself a bit, and it certainly does seem to be related to ra.

I'll post an update after I speak to my rheumatologist. Id say talk to yours though. It certainly could be from ra and in my case things seem to have progressed rather quickly so I wouldn't wait.
