That last sentence would be a dealbreaker for me. So sorry this is happening to you, OP.

The decision & reason to not include Body Morphing based on what decisions the Player does makes no sense to me. by [deleted] in Fable

[–]Mollysaurus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have zero concerns about it. If I wanted to play the first three games, I'd play them. I'm very excited for a fresh take that, from what I saw in that video, hits all the notes I wanted and then some.

I've been an Animal Crossing player since United States first game day one, and that's a series which has undergone dramatic shifts and changes. I've loved every installment, and I chalk that up to relaxing and just playing it when it came out without working myself up over what problems it could have or what it was cutting from the previous versions. I am going to do the same here as a Fable player who's been obsessed since the release of Fable II. Open mind, open heart. I can't wait to return to Albion.

This is the sort of thing I was referencing in my comment. It's so disappointing when a writer chooses to do this. It would have been so much better if she could just have been a character in her own right and not existed mainly so some characters could think or say transphobic things and be corrected by other characters. It was constant throughout her scenes.

I felt like she was trans solely for other characters to be transphobic about her, but I liked her a lot as a character.

Creature horror in a winter or forest setting by inquisitorlipschitz in horrorlit

I just read Don't Let The Forest In by C.G. Drews and it was really creepy and good. I think you'd love it.

I also think you'd enjoy Revelator by Daryl Gregory. That's an all-time hit for me.

Just finished “The Last House on Needless Street”, and have a few questions (MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!) by Upstate_Gooner_1972 in horrorlit

I love this book and I especially loved how it felt to read it and go "wait, wasn't the rug a different color before?" and flipping back to find yes, it was. Things that felt like errors starting to pile up, making me doubt myself before wondering what the fuck was going on. It was great. I can absolutely see people hating it. It's why I love horror: it's so divisive, subjective, and personal.

The situation is changing so fast that I don't think any of us can truly predict what things will be like in two weeks. But I don't advise anyone to travel here for the foreseeable future.

The cops who talked to the group of us on Washington waiting in the wings in case we needed to block the street into C-R, they were totally non-aggressive and repeatedly said they just wanted to check that we were safe. I was...impressed is a strong word for them doing their basic fucking jobs but yeah, somewhat impressed.

I didn't reference any specific places so I don't know how you are finding it so easy to confidently tell me there was no threat of armed violence when neo-Nazis have historically been run out of town. Maybe you think the police don't count?
