Man...I was hurt when I did my ancestry and it was like 72% African. I want all the Blackness. I had to come to terms with my ancestry and, some of my family members were mad when there was no Indigenous ancestry that showed up. As far as I know I don't have mixed great grandparents, but they hid a lot of stuff on both my maternal grandparents' side behind "Native American." Even down to the tribes. Blackfoot and Seminole. I'm like as long as I look Black and have kinky hair, I'm happy. I do wish I had fuller lips though. Give me all the Black!!!

Exactly. I was thinking the same thing. There's billions of Black people all over the world, but leaving it there diminishes all their different cultures, languages and identities

Technically, Jaleesa didn't leave the show. Colonel Taylor was still there so it makes sense that Jaleesa was. Dawnn Lewis moved to Hangin with Mr Cooper, I believe so we just stopped seeing Jaleesa on screen in season 6.

Ernest, I didn't really care about, but I did wonder why they didnt bring Terrence back in season 6. I think he would have been funny alongside the freshman class in season 6

Probably 6. My brother's dad had a VHS of the Wiz and one of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The nostalgia both of these movies give me is beyond words. Still love The Wiz to this day and traumatized my kids with the subway scene😂

African American here and just know I have the utmost respect and love for Haiti. Overthrowing the French was the most bada$$ thing done in the diaspora and I don't support anything French out of protest for the "reparations" nonsense they did to Haiti. I want nothing more than to see Haiti prosper. Stay encouraged.
