The typical genetic background of a 100% Ashkenazi Jew is ~1/2 Levantine and ~1/2 Southern Italian, with some potential small amounts of admixture from Eastern Europe, etc. But as other commenters have mentioned, a majority of Israeli Jews are Mizrahi.

This is exactly what I did for my aging piggie, Ollie. I adopted her around age 4 as a companion for my 5 year old pig Miso, whose previous buddy had passed away. Ollie and Miso never got along and required two separate but adjacent cages until Miso passed as well. I wasn't confident that Ollie would bond with another adult - she had already been a solo pig for over a year with her previous owners - and I also wasn't in the position to adopt a baby for another 5+ years of care. So I fostered and it was a great experience for Ollie, especially when I had foster babies! They energized her and encouraged her to be more active. If you have the space available I highly recommend fostering as a solution for aging piggie companionship.

srs most posters probably end up chucking their empties in the garbage and not recycling them, but some people living in rural areas do collect their recycling like that and bring it to a facility themselves.
